The Wedding
15 May
The big event that has brought us these thousands of miles away from home is finally here and we are all very excited. The weather was sunny and warm and perfect for an outdoor wedding.
The venue at the castle is truly enchanting and this was such a beautiful setting especially for such a small and intimate family wedding.
The ceremony on the terrace was very private as the couple shared their own vows to each other. The beautiful couple came down the stairs and as an amazing surprise out came a piper who played the bagpipes with beautiful clear rythm.
We then had the first round of photos with the family. More photos were done whilst the guests had snacks. The couple joined us for the cutting of the cake, followed by some short announcements before they headed off for a private shoot while we had dinner, which was an amazing Lasagne cooked by the groom himself.
They then proceeded with their speeches, followed by desert. It was a stunning setting and as night time fell the candles and lights and outdoor fireplace made the venue absolutely stunning.
I am so glad we made the trip and the time with family was priceless!
Will post photos of the bride and groom once we have their consent.
