It has become evident that my Canadian Visa won't be issued in time for this year's travel plans in May. I have therefore decided that I will postpone Canada to winter 2026 and just do the wedding and a Scottish tour this year. The return flight to London has been booked and the excitement is starting to build. I'm super excited that I'll get to experience the Airbus A380. I have a dream to experience over night trains in as many countries as possible. That is why I am especially excited that we will be doing an overnight train trip on the glamorous Caledonian Sleeper. I know that there are parts of train travel that will never be glamorous but it will certainly be fun. I remember well our Transkaroo trip from Pretoria to Cape Town.
